Manuel Perez-Miranda is Head of Gastroenterology at Hospital Universitario Rio Hortega in Valladolid, Spain, where he has practiced ERCP and interventional EUS (i-EUS) for 25 years. He adopted EUS-guided biliary drainage and anastomoses early on. He has published, lectured and demonstrated on i-EUS, which is the focus of his clinical, teaching and research activity. He organizes Vallado-LIVE biannually, which will be held after EUGW 2023 on October 19th & 20th, and where an international faculty will demonstrate & discuss i-EUS.
